VISION

Becoming a nationally and internationally leading institution for education, research and community service in the area of Dutch language, linguistics, literature and culture.

MISSIONS

Dutch Studies Program aims to:

1. To develop education and research in the area of Dutch language, linguistics, literature, and culture as a contribution to the development and progress of humanity;
2. To produce high quality human resources in the area of Dutch language, linguistics, literature, and culture;
3. To maximize the integration of education, research, and community services in the area of Dutch language, linguistics, literature, and culture.

 

PURPOSE OF THE STUDY PROGRAM

1. To produce reliable graduates who have expertise in the Dutch language, linguistics, literature, and culture who are responsible, think critically, sensitive, and creative, also easy to adapt as part of a dignified and cultured digital society;

2. To produce quality research and community service in the Dutch language, linguistics, literature and culture that are relevant to national and global challenges.

 

GRADUATE PROFILE AND COMPETENCIES

Effective data-based communicators who think critically to solve problems creatively, individually and collaboratively, with integrity and always learn throughout their lives.

 

LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE DUTCH STUDIES PROGRAM

1. To be able to communicate orally and in writing in Dutch with level B1 Common European Framework of Reference;
2. To be able to analyse Dutch language data critically;
3. To be able to analyse Dutch literary works critically;
4. To be able to analyse the symptoms and cultural problems in Dutch society;
5. To be able to present the results of analysis and evaluation in the form of oral or written presentations creatively, effectively, and efficiently using information technology media;
6. To be able to work together to solve problems in various situations in a responsible manner.
