On Thursday, May 7, 2026, a follow-up to the FIB UI Alumni General Lecture Episode 2, “Building Awareness of Student Mental Health from a Humanities Perspective in the Modern Era,” was held in the form of an audience involving the Student Welfare Division (Adkesma) of the FIB UI Student Executive Board, FIB UI Student Associations, and Religious Organizations within FIB UI, together with the Vice Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs, as well as the Student Affairs and Alumni Relations Manager. During the audience, follow-up measures were determined to create a safe space to maintain student mental health through a planned peer counseling training program, which will be attended by representatives from Adkesma BEM FIB UI, Student Associations, and Religious Organizations within FIB UI.
The session also reiterated the availability of faculty counselors, counseling rooms, and peer counseling services that FIB UI students can utilize. Expanding peer counseling training to include more student participants is one effort to create a safe and comfortable space for every FIB UI student. (trans-LS)
