The Universitas Indonesia (UI) Library once again held its “UI Library Roadshow”, this time for lecturers of the Faculty of Humanities (FIB UI). Conducted virtually on September 18, 2025, the event served as a platform to introduce library services, collections, and innovations designed to support the academic and research activities of the UI community. The session was moderated by Dr. Junaidi, M.A., Manager of Cooperation and Venture.
In her opening remarks, Head of UI Library, Luluk Tri Wulandari, and Lusiana Monohevita presented the library’s various services, innovations, and digital facilities. These included access to e-resources, the institutional repository, and research publication support. Participants were also introduced to ways of utilizing featured collections and consultation services that enhance teaching and research. Going forward, the UI Library aims to expand facilities that support interdisciplinary research.
The roadshow at FIB UI was highly interactive, reflecting strong lecturer interest in research-related services such as international journal access, reference management, and document similarity checks through Turnitin and iThenticate. FIB UI is also among the faculties that actively utilize UI Library services.
Dr. Untung Yuwono, S.S., Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs of FIB UI, highlighted the faculty’s appreciation of the roadshow initiative. Records show that in 2023, FIB UI students were the largest group of visitors to the UI Library. In 2025, the faculty is expected to further increase the use of literature search services and Electronic Delivery Services (EDS), particularly for Professors.
The UI Library Roadshow is expected to strengthen collaboration between the library and faculties in fostering an excellent academic ecosystem. This initiative also reflects the library’s ongoing commitment to innovation and to providing relevant services for the Universitas Indonesia academic community. (CA)
