As part of the Dean Cup 2025 series, the Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Indonesia (FIB UI) held a Fishing Competition on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Abian Fishing, Citayam, Depok. The event brought together 66 participants, consisting of FIB UI lecturers and administrative staff, in a cheerful and friendly atmosphere. The competition featured two main categories: Heaviest Catch Champion and Most Fish Caught Champion.
Adding to the excitement, the event also featured a karaoke session performed by participants from the FIB UI Karaoke Competition. This creates a lively and entertaining ambiance throughout the day.
The FIB UI Fishing Community, which has long been active in organizing joint activities, played an important role in realizing this event. To heighten the challenge, 200 kilograms of fish, including pomfret and carp, were released into the pond before the competition began.
The event concluded with a shared lunch, marking a joyful end to the day’s activities. Through this event, FIB UI continues to foster a spirit of camaraderie and togetherness among its academic community in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. (CA)
