The Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Indonesia (FIB UI), continues to demonstrate its commitment to building transparent, accountable, and integrity-driven governance through the strengthening of the Zone of Integrity (ZI). This commitment was reflected in the direct participation of the Dean of FIB UI, Dr. Untung Yuwono, S.S., in the Discussion on the Submission of the Integrity Zone toward the National Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) / Clean and Service-Oriented Bureaucracy Zone (WBBM) for 2026.
The event, organized by the UI Risk Management and Compliance Office, was held on Wednesday, 18 February 2026, from 13.00 to 16.00 WIB at Meeting Room A, 2nd Floor, The Central Administration of the University Building. In this forum, FIB UI, together with the Vocational Education Program and the Faculty of Medicine, participated in a strategic discussion concerning readiness and the strengthening of documents for the national-level WBK/WBBM Integrity Zone submission.
The active participation of the faculty leadership in this forum underscores that the development of an Integrity Zone is not merely an administrative requirement, but part of a sustainable transformation of work culture. FIB UI continues to promote the principles of transparency, improved public service quality, and strengthened internal control systems across all aspects of faculty governance.
This commitment has previously granted proud achievements. In 2025, FIB UI was awarded First Place in the UI Zone of Integrity Awards, in recognition of its consistency and innovation in fostering a professional and integrity-based working environment.
This achievement serves as strong motivation for FIB UI to further strengthen the implementation of the Zone of Integrity toward meeting national WBK/WBBM standards. Through the synergy of faculty leadership, administrative staff, lecturers, and the entire academic community, FIB UI is determined to make a culture of integrity the fundamental foundation for achieving excellent and sustainable governance.
With a spirit of collaboration and continuous improvement, FIB UI remains optimistic about contributing meaningfully to the transformation of Universitas Indonesia’s governance toward an institution that is increasingly accountable, transparent, and service-oriented. (CA)
