The Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Indonesia (FIB UI), represented Universitas Indonesia in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing events between Badan Bahasa and 13
universities in Indonesia, held on 28–31 October 2025 at The Malioboro Hotel & Conference Center, Yogyakarta. The signing ceremony took place on 29 October 2025 and marked an
important moment in strengthening strategic collaboration in the fields of language and culture.
At this event, Universitas Indonesia was represented by the Acting Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs of FIB UI, Rouli Esther, Ph.D. The MoU serves as a foundation
for cooperation between the Badan Bahasa and various higher education institutions in implementing programs for developing human resource competencies.
This MoU acts as an umbrella for collaboration between Badan Bahasa and the 13 universities through a plan to send the staffs of Badan Bahasa to pursue postgraduate studies in programs
related to language and cultural studies. This partnership is expected to strengthen academic
development and contribute significantly to improving the quality of education and research in Indonesia. (Trans-CA)
