Sachiko Khazbiika, a 2023 student of the Russian Studies Program at the Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Indonesia (FIB UI), achieved remarkable success on the international stage. At The 10th International Karate Championship KL Mayor’s Cup Malaysia, held from October 30 to November 2, 2025, at Jaya Centre, Petaling, Selangor, Malaysia, Sachiko proudly brought home two awards: 1st Individual Female Senior Kumite and Best of Team Female Senior Kumite.
The international karate competition gathered hundreds of athletes from various countries, showcasing sportsmanship and resilience among participants. Sachiko’s achievement not only reflects her dedication and hard work in the field of sports but also demonstrates that FIB UI students can excel multidimensionally—achieving excellence in academics while actively participating in global-scale non-academic pursuits.
