FIB UI Holds Webinar “From Campus to Corporate: Building a Global Career with DHL” in Collaboration with Bosshire

The Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Indonesia (FIB UI), in collaboration with Bosshire, officially held a career webinar titled “From Campus to Corporate: Building a Global Career with DHL” on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. (WIB) via Zoom Meeting. This event served as a platform for FIB UI students to understand strategies for building an international career starting from university, particularly in global industries such as DHL.

The webinar featured two professional speakers from DHL, Yenna Waty Lim (Head of West & North Region, DHL) and Arika Retnaningtyas (Head of Human Resources, DHL), and was hosted by Alisha Tarasari Marsa (FIB UI student, Class of 2023) as the Master of Ceremony.

In her presentation, Yenna Waty Lim explained the concept of logistics as a system that manages the flow of goods, information, and resources from producers to consumers. She also highlighted how careers in logistics offer broad opportunities across various sectors, from transportation to supply chain management. Moreover, Yenna emphasized the importance of language proficiency, particularly Mandarin, as many international logistics companies collaborate with partners from China. Meanwhile, Arika Retnaningtyas emphasized that success in the logistics industry is built upon a strong corporate culture. She also highlighted the importance of the principles “deliver with customer” and “simplify logistics” as core values in providing the best service to clients.

The event also featured an interactive Q&A session, where participants actively asked questions about internship opportunities, global career paths, and DHL recruitment tips. The students showed great enthusiasm, especially in discussing how to prepare for the international job market.

Through this webinar, FIB UI students not only gained practical insights into the global professional world but also received e-money, e-certificates, and the opportunity to secure a direct visit slot to DHL.

FIB UI hopes that this collaboration with Bosshire and DHL will continue to expand students’ access to the global professional ecosystem while strengthening graduates’ readiness to face an innovation- and technology-driven industrial world. (Trans-CA)
