The Faculty of Humanities Universitas Indonesia (FIB UI) warmly welcomed a group of 140 students from Sekolah Global Mandiri during an educational visit held at the Auditorium of Building X – Benny H. Hoed on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. The visit aimed to provide firsthand insights into university life and introduce the academic and cultural environment at FIB UI.
A warm welcome was delivered by Mrs. Chysanti Arumsari, M.A., Head of Public Relations and Protocol at FIB UI, who was present on behalf of the faculty leadership. On this occasion, she welcomed the entire group led by Mr. M. Arief Fadhillah, M.Pd., Deputy Head of Student Affairs, along with 15 accompanying teachers.
On this occasion, Ms. Chysanti, together with the Public Relations and Protocol team, namely Mrs. Sunarti, Mr. Tjahyadi, and Talita, shared information about FIB UI and opened a question-and-answer session. The students enthusiastically asked various questions, ranging from career opportunities for graduates, the level of competitiveness of study programs, the real contribution of humanities to Indonesia, to information about postgraduate programs.
Additionally, the FIB UI Pre-University Program was introduced, with applications open until September 30, 2025. This program is open to high school students and high school graduates (gap year), with a weight equivalent to 3 credits that can be converted if participants continue their studies as FIB UI students. During this period, FIB UI offers one course, namely English Literature Text Analysis.
Through this visit, students not only gained information about the academic world and the prospects of studying humanities, but also had the opportunity to experience firsthand the green, beautiful, and culturally rich atmosphere of the FIB UI campus.
