The Faculty of Humanities of the Universitas Indonesia (FIB UI), in collaboration with Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), is organizing a socialization event entitled “Sharia Financial Solutions for a More Blessed Future”. This activity will take place on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, starting at 09.00 WIB, at the Auditorium Building 1-RM. Ng. Poerbatjaraka FIB UI.
The event presented several speakers, including Vita Ardiany (Group Head, Institutional Banking Group), Syahrial (Department Head, Pawning Group), and Marita Kristi Aningrum (Area Manager Depok). The socialization was also attended by the Dean of FIB UI, Vice Deans, managers, lecturers, and education staff of FIB UI.
The Dean of FIB UI, Dr. Bondan Kanumoyoso, S.S., M.Hum., in his speech, said that BSI’s vision is in line with FIB UI, including bringing the topic of sustainability. FIB UI, in this case, also prioritizes the preservation and development of culture. Humanities and the banking sector have great potential for collaboration in funding and mutually reinforcing cooperation, for example, in supporting research that has an impact on society. In fact, in the field of human resources, graduates from the humanities also have the potential to contribute to the banking sector.
Through this activity, BSI introduced various Islamic financial solutions aimed at making it easier for people to plan a more blessed future. Participants got information about BSI products and services, ranging from gold installments at special prices, fast and cheap Hajj programs, free gold washing services, to a housing promo entitled Griya Merdeka. In addition, the event also presented an opportunity to see the vehicle unit directly and did a test drive. Not only that, participants who attended also had the opportunity to get attractive souvenirs that had been prepared by the committee.
This activity was made possible with the support of BSI partners, namely NRT Travel and Indogrosir. Through this synergy, it is hoped that more people, especially the FIB UI academic community, can understand the benefits of Islamic financial solutions to support better future planning. (RMRW)
