The Family Women’s Association of the Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Indonesia (IWK FIB UI) has demonstrated a tangible commitment to the welfare and educational future of the campus’s extended family. Through close synergy with the FIB UI Alumni Association (ILUNI FIB UI), IWK organized a symbolic presentation of scholarships and school supplies on Thursday, 2 July 2026. The warm event was attended directly by the leadership of IWK FIB UI, including Chairperson Tri Wahyuni Junaidi, S.E., and Mrs. Fitri Nuryati Fahrurodji, S.Ag., alongside faculty leaders and representatives from the ILUNI FIB UI board.
The presence of the faculty’s leadership underscored the institution’s full support for social programs that directly address staff welfare. Attending the event was the Dean of FIB UI, Dr. Untung Yuwono, S.S., accompanied by the Vice Dean for Resources, Venture, and General Administration, Lily Tjahjandari, M.Hum., Ph.D. Additionally, the Vice Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs, Rouli Esther, M.Si., M.A., Ph.D., and Dr. Junaidi, the Manager of Cooperation and Venture, were present to show support, collectively witnessing the distribution of these awards and assistance to the beneficiaries. Representing ILUNI FIB UI were Mr. Djodi H. Prajuri, serving as the Vice Chairperson, and Mr. Mantek Sangadji.
The main program carried out during this agenda focused on providing educational scholarships targeting the children of educational staff (tendik) of FIB UI, tendik of LBI FIB UI, as well as outsourced security guards and janitorial staff within the FIB UI environment. Specifically, this financial assistance was granted to sons and daughters who are just entering their first year of school at various levels, starting from new students in 1st grade of Elementary School (SD), 1st grade of Junior High School (SMP), to 1st grade of Senior High School (SMA). These scholarships are expected to alleviate the initial costs of entering school and motivate students to study harder in their new educational journeys.
In addition to financial aid, support for education was also shown through the distribution of complimentary packages containing textbooks and stationery. These school supplies were distributed evenly to the educational and outsourced staff to fulfill their children’s learning needs in the classroom. Through the organization of this event, the values of family, solidarity, and mutual support among all elements within the FIB UI environment are expected to be continuously strengthened to foster a humane and caring campus ecosystem.
